About Me

Born in Basel, Switzerland, i finished secundary school in 1996. After studying jazzguitar for one year at the Jazzschool Freiburg, Germany, i entered the Music College of Basel, Switzerland, where i finished with diploma for guitar and teaching in 2002. Since then i have been travelling around Latinamerica with my argentinian wife Vanina (www.kleinod.blogspot.com) playing in bars and restaurants as a soloist. My repertoire includes Jazz standards, the most known Bossa Nova standards by A.C.Jobim, a large repertoire of cuban songwriter Silvio Rodriguez, some rock/pop songs in english, many songs of the late swiss troubadour Mani Matter and a few originals. with female singer/percussionist Cocó we interpreted for some time tango clasics and some pieces by Astor Piazzolla. Now I keep on playing instrumental versions of these beautiful songs.
